'Flow' was Carl's follow up album to 'The Big Picture'. Released in 2007, it featured 14 new tracks, most of which had a slightly rockier feel to them. Tracks from the album received a great deal of local radio play throughout the UK.
Andrew Pain of the Evening Gazette on Teesside wrote "It starts promisingly but really hits it's stride with the first of the two title tracks 'Flow I'. Another highlight is the thoroughly modern sounding 'Sink Or Swim' where the pace is lifted and the electric guitar takes centre stage yet again. Each of the 14 tracks stands alone individually different to all the others yet they sit together perfectly". The Link Magazine also said that the album was full of "twists and surprising turns".
